Pollution as a result of alcohol use: new research into possible solutions

Each city has a group of chronic alcoholics who use alcohol in the public space, with pollution and  visible loss occurred as a result of their alcohol consumption and lifestyle. The GCD Amsterdam has launched an investigation into possible solutions to this problem. This research is financed from G4-USER from the so-called Small but Fine Budget: research funds for short-term research questions from the practice.

New resesearch: Measuring participation of targetgroups in Public Mental Health

Participation of the target groups in Public Mental Health is one of the priorities for the G4. There are diffent kind of instruments to measure participation. In the Netherlands the so called 'participation ladder' is often used, but the question is if this is the best instrument for the purpose of G4. There are other instruments, for example the Self-Sufficiency Matrix (SSM) that is used in the G4 already. In this research we compare all instruments in order to choose the most appropriate instrument for our purpose.

Just started: Monitoring and prevention of suicide in the G4

Under the leadership of the LUMC and GCD Den Haag is with financial contribution from G4 USER, started with the monitoring and prevention of suicide from the public healthcare in the G4.
